Avantaj-AV has a wide experience in production of windows from mahogany, one of the most reliable and durable. Assembly of window frames differs from traditional assembly at an angle of 90 degrees. Window and doorframes gather at an angle 45 degrees that allows to protect wood end faces from atmospheric actions as much as possible. They are completely glued and connected among themselves. Such technology allows to give to a window an esthetic look.
Modern manufacturing techniques of paints allow to paint frames in any color, ideally combining tone of a window with appearance of the building and a situation in it. At the same time, paints and varnishes do not prevent optimum air exchange, and only increase resistance of wood to influence of a fungus, an atmospheric precipitation and other factors which could affect functioning of a product negatively. Windows from mahogany remain steady against moisture, without being deformed under its influence.
Nevertheless, such breed as "mahogany" actually does not exist. Under this name unite a number of breeds of tropical trees a sort from Southeast Asia, America or Africa which wood has red or brown color. We use one of the most popular breeds of wood - Meranti, being magnificent material for production of windows, the tree is from Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia. Beautiful impressive drawing of wood is allocated with large and non-uniform drawing. The velvet brilliant surface attracts a look. Depending on the place of an origin, color of material can vary from light pink with yellow or whitish impregnations to dark red. Despite quite high hardness, machining of a meranta is quite simple. The surface remains smooth and does not change color due to the lack of the content of tannin.
