Roofing steel

The covering for a roof is one of the most important construction details as it protects almost all other designs from various climatic influences. At the choice of a covering it is necessary to take its resistance to atmospheric actions, light resistance, the price of materials of a covering and designs of the basis into account.

Flat steel sheet (roofing tin). The covering of a steel sheet is made or of a galvanized leaf 0,5 mm thick, or of a leaf on which the plastic layer is applied. At construction of small buildings it is irrational to strive for a big variety of types of coverings of roofs, application of each of which demands the special working tool and increases financial expenses. Therefore producers of roofing materials are faced by tasks not only of expansion of their range, but also of simplification of ways of their application in construction, depreciation.
