Plan Scan is the cartographic flat bed scanner intended for scanning of cards on carriers of any thickness.

Geometrical parameters

• The scanner has optical permission 400dpi (60 µm);
• The mean square error of scanning does not exceed 0.1 mm. The error is defined by means of scanning and follow-on measurement of a control grid;
• The scanner takes width of 600 mm for one pass that excludes not stitching of bands of the output image.

Radiometric parameters

• The scanner is equipped with a color linear CCD photodetector of SONY firm and the lighter on powerful LEDs that provides excellent quality of the received images;
• Carries out scanning of color and black-and-white materials with image recording in the True Color format (24 bits) or with 256 gray gradations (8 bits);
• Time of scanning of the tablet of 600x600 mm in the color TrueColor mode makes 10 minutes at permission 400dpi; scanning of the tablet of 600x600 mm with the permission 400dpi and 256 gray gradations takes 4 minutes.

Software

Allows to save images in the TIFF format (without compression or JPEG) and BMP, with a pixel size multiple to CCD ruler pixel: 60,90,120 … 480 µm; contains the powerful module for correction and transformation of the received pictures.
