Coats Aquamelt threads the shtapelny polyvinylspirit (PVS) threads intended for performance of stitches of temporary appointment and making of intensifying lines in production of garments.
Coats Aquamelt threads At immersion of the processed site in water of a thread are dissolved and, thus, it is rather easy to remove them from product seams.
Conventional sewing threads used for basting or tacking operations hold in place or join one or more fabric ply's which are then (if visible) unpicked after a garment is complete.
Aquamelt threads the ideal threads suitable for performance of any kinds of temporary stitches and lines since they do not damage fabric and do not pull together a seam during removal of already unnecessary temporary stitches and lines after performance of all necessary operations.

Threads of Coats Aquamelt are used for making of the temporary strengthening line on product cuts to prevent fabric deformation (when tailoring products from jersey), to protect cuts from fall to keep a form of figured cuts since the constant machine line will repeat their contours.
For making of a temporary line from the dissolved threads by car of a shuttle stitch it is recommended to fill threads both in a needle, and in a bobbin. It is desirable to install the device of undercutting of threads which will provide the normal thickness of a line.
