Coats Aptan is the nylon thread with greasing executed from previously stabilized continuous nylon fiber 6.6. Coats Aptan is the excellent choice for work with all types of skin and possesses high resistance to attrition. It is also exposed to soft finishing processing that provides very low friction coefficient that reduces heating of a needle and attrition of a thread.
Main types of application
- Products from skin
- Top elements of footwear
- The goods intended for operation on the street and sports equipment
- Safety cushions
- Seat belts
- Filtration
- Automotive industry
- Multineedle stitch

Features and advantages
- Coats Aptan is 30% stronger, than a usual nylon thread. The high coefficient of a ratio of durability to thickness does possible creation of very thin seams in footwear
- Coats Aptan is processed by special structure from lubricant which gives it excellent antiwear characteristics during high-speed sewing
- The controlled tensile properties provide excellent technical characteristics and dense reliable lines on a multilayered surface of leather products
- Coats Aptan shows excellent properties of looping, forms a seam, strong and accurate on appearance
