Sleeves for gas cutting and welding of GOST 9356-75 (76)
The rubber pressure head sleeves intended for gas cutting and gas-welding works are made in accordance with GOST 9356-75. Osnovnoyenaznacheniye of welding sleeves - giving under pressure of working gases: acetylene, natural gas, butane, propane, oxygen, and also liquid fuel to the equipment used for gas cutting and welding.
Sleeves of GOST 9356-75 are issued for operation in areas with frigid, temperate and tropical climate. Range of working temperatures of RTI depends on their climatic modification and makes:
- 55 … +70 °C - for a frigid and temperate climate;
- 35 … +70 °C - for tropical.
Hoses of GOST 9356-75 are subdivided into the following classes depending on appointment and a scope:
- a class I - hoses which use for giving under the pressure up to 0,63 MPas of various gases or their mixes (propane, butane, natural gas);
- a class II - the sleeves intended for giving under the pressure up to 0,63 MPas of liquids (A-72 gasoline, kerosene, white spirit or their mixes);
- the class III - pressure head oxygen sleeves which are used only for supply of oxygen under big pressure depending on execution of a rta the maximum working pressure makes 2,0 and 4,0 MPas
Each hose oxygen GOST 9356-75 has the marking put with indelible paint or a relief way. The method of drawing marking has to ensure its safety and readability on all term of operation of a rubber product. For gas-welding hoses with a diameter of 6,3 mm drawing marking on a label, but not on a hose is allowed.
Marking of hoses of oxygen GOST 9356-75 contains:
- product symbol;
- trademark or name of manufacturing firm;
- number of party and date of issue;
- the stamp of Quality Department testifying to compliance of production to requirements of State Standard.
Oxygen marking is applied on color sleeves with white paint. For black sleeves color of marking depends on rta belonging to a class.
