Degree of firmness of color of a thread causes minimum levels of productivity, and, in practice, the majority of shades will exceed these levels
The Coats company strongly recommends to make to a color and finishing processing of a sample of clothes before starting mass production of products as the fibers making fabric are out of our control. The Coats company can provide technical support of process of production of clothes with the subsequent coloring (on your production). Please, contact our local office.
Why clothes with coloring after tailoring?
In case it is necessary to make similar models of clothes in several flowers for short term, then it is simpler to paint an article of clothing after sewing (threads, finishing and fabric will together be painted), but not to sew a product from the painted fabric.
What restrictions of this kind of coloring?
- Coloring is not suitable for all types of fabrics
- Not always desirable final appearance of clothes turns out
- The conditions of performance of sewing operations necessary for production of products from cotton with coloring after tailoring, can lead to performance of imperfect seams
- There is a high risk of use of incorrect type of a thread
- There are no guarantees of absolute compatibility of a thread and fabric, even in the seeming ideal situation.
What sewing threads to use for production of the products painted after sewing?
- The thread has to be chosen on the basis of composition of fibers of fabric
i.e. 100% cotton fabric - 100% a cotton thread
100% nylon fabric - 100% a nylon thread
- 100% cotton threads are rather rigid owing to their durability, they show rather low lengthening therefore for them are necessary rather easy tension when performing a seam and the high density of stitches
- Finishing processing of a thread has to be chosen according to fabric processing
For not bleached fabric - unbleached threads
For partially bleached / washed fabrics - half the bleached thread
For fabrics which are bleached till white color for the subsequent coloring - a white thread
- Be convinced that the thread is not tinted
