Logopedics — special pedagogical science about violations of the speech, ways of their prevention, identification and elimination by means of special training and education. Is one of sections of special pedagogics. The logopedics studies the reasons, mechanisms, symptomatology, a current, structure of violations of speech activity, system of correctional influence.
Individual classes with the logopedist are given, considering age and specific features of development of the child.
The following directions enter occupation:
- correction of a sound pronunciation;
- development of phonemic hearing;
- general development of the speech;
- training in reading;
- speech disinhibition (at not speaking children of 3 years).
It is important to warn and eliminate a number of harmful consequences of the uncorrected speech in time at the child which can be expressed in the following:
- The delay in intellectual development of the child since the speech not only enriches thinking with contents, but also forms it.
- Heavy mental experiences of the child because of shortcomings of the speech (shown by 5 years).
- Difficulties in school training (secondary speech violations: dissiksiya, dysgraphia)
- Violation of a harmonous course of occupations in a class in the presence of badly speaking, because of laughter of schoolmates, tears and refusal to answer.
- In the future - personal problems and restrictions in the choice of professions.
Thus, early detection of speech pathology and timely correction, and also prevention of speech violations - the main task not only the logopedist, but also the parents having children preschool and younger
