Paraaramide Coats Protos Plus thread stronger, than steel, is also used in the production gloves protecting from cuts and for a stitching of fire-resistant mattresses.

Paraaramid to be under the influence of ultraviolet rays: The natural yellow shade turns into light-brown. Thermal stability does not give in to influence, but durability of fiber decreases. Loss of durability about 50% in 40 - 60 weeks of ultra-violet radiation. Therefore, paraaramid should not be affected by ultraviolet rays.
